From the day we opened for business in Malaysia in 1987, we have held true to our core value that it is the duty and privilege of a successful company to give something back to the community in which we operate. And that includes our time as well as our cash. Courts takes a keen interest in the charities we support in Malaysia and makes it a practice to be personally in attendance at all events and presentations that we sponsor.

"Rumah Ceriaku" campaign is one of the many community projects we have undertaken.

Launched in 1999, the project is aimed at assisting the community via the adoption of children's homes around the country. Through the project, the Company aims to adopt 50 orphanages in the country, furnished and supported. By the time the project is completed, it is estimated that the orphanages will have received aid in excess of RM500,000.As of today, Courts has completed its mission in adopting 50 homes under the "Rumah Ceriaku" campaign and over 2491 children benefited from this project.

Our responsibility towards the homes does not end after the adoption. It is the responsibility of Courts to continue maintaining its relationship with these homes always. This is the way to show the homes, that their adopted parents are not deserting them. It is necessary for them to know that, we at Courts care and wish to continue to support these less fortunate children. We have to provide them with essential things that they need in order to keep them well and happy.

Courts provides each home with furnishings and electrical products. However, the company’s support for the homes, is not merely material. Associates from the nearest Courts branch are encouraged to organize activities such as “get together” sessions, tutoring assistance, motivational talks, gardening, painting and parties on special occasions for the children.
