COURTS Malaysia opened its door to its customer since 1987 and today, operates more than 46 stores nationwide. OUR MILESTONES
In 1850, a young man named Henry Court opened a small family-run furniture business in Canterbury, England. The business fell on hard times during World War II and was sold to the Cohen family in 1945. By the late 60s, the Cohens embarked on overseas expansion beyond their shores, targeting the Caribbean and Asia. In 1987, the first COURTS store opened in Malaysia in Johor Bahru.
Our Community
As an organisation that prioritises the welfare of the communities it operates in, COURTS Malaysia launched RUMAH AMAL COURTS in year 2015, a nationwide community outreach programme to contribute household necessities inclusive of electrical products and furniture, to charity homes and underprivileged families to help lessen their physical and emotional burdens. Through CSR programmes, COURTS aims to position the company mission and utilise its capabilities and resources as a retailer to good use by helping the local communities.
