COURTS Karamunsing Celebrates Grand Reopening with Strong Crowd Turnout and Cultural Showcase

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah — COURTS Malaysia officially celebrated the reopening of COURTS Karamunsing with a vibrant and well-attended event, reflecting Sabah’s rich cultural heritage, supported by key business partners and stakeholders.

The reopening ceremony commenced with an address by Mr. Amma Tomonori, Chief Executive Officer of COURTS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, who reaffirmed COURTS’ commitment to the Sabah community through an enhanced environment and improved customer experience. This was followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by senior representatives from leading consumer electronics and home appliance brands, including Panasonic, Skyworth, LG, Samsung, Sharp, Hisense, and NeckPro, alongside the owner of Karamunsing Complex, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living.

The celebration was further enlivened by an energetic lion dance performance, complimented by traditional Sabah cultural showcases featuring the Sumazau and Magunatip dances. These performances highlighted the beauty, identity, and cultural richness of Sabah, adding a meaningful local touch to the reopening.

Throughout the reopening celebration, visitors enjoyed a festive shopping atmosphere with complimentary popcorn, RM1 deals, and a wide range of exclusive promotions specially curated for the reopening. The strong turnout reflected positive customer response to both the refreshed store concept and the attractive reopening offers.

The newly reopened COURTS Karamunsing now features an improved store layout designed to provide a more comfortable and seamless shopping experience, supported by enhanced customer service to better serve the Karamunsing community.
