COURTS MALAYSIA BRIGHTENS UP THIS DEEPAVALI BY DONATING RM8000 WORTH OF FURNITURE TO HELP ORPHANAGE
The leading retailer brought joy to 25 children as they donated furniture in conjunction with
Deepavali as part of its ongoing Rumah Amal COURTS programme.
Johor Bahru, 11 October 2019 – One of the leading consumer retailers of IT, electronics
and furniture, COURTS Malaysia, brought some festive cheer to children during this Deepavali festival as
they donated essential furniture to the Villa Paulos Home, a home supported by The Budimas Charitable
Foundation which serves 25 children.
As part of its ongoing Rumah Amal COURTS programme, which was launched in 2015 in line with its commitment to give back to the communities it operates in, COURTS presented more than 10 pieces of furniture and home essentials to the home including wooden beds, study table, stand fan, washing machine and more. COURTS aims to provide needed home products to enable the children to celebrate Deepavali with good cheer.
“COURTS is embracing Malaysia's multi-cultural society with a Deepavali celebration with our valued customers. Being committed to giving back to the community, we have actively reached out to underprivileged Malaysians through the Rumah Amal COURTS programme since 2015. In partnership with our partner the Budimas Foundation, we are especially pleased to celebrate the festival of lights with the children of Villa Paulos Home this year, and donate needed home goods.
