COURTS MALAYSIA INITIATIVES UNDER PENJANA KERJAYA DURING THIS DIFFICULT SITUATION

13 September 2021 - COVID-19 pandemic brings huge impact to the business owners and entities worldwide. Due to this difficult time, like other countries, many seized down their business operations and this led to the increasing amount of unemployment rate in Malaysia.

Quick action to ensure everyone can stay afloat during this challenging situation, the Government of Malaysia has introduced PENJANA KERJAYA program as part of the Short-Term Economic Recovery Plan.

Last June, COURTS joined PENJANA KERJAYA, under the Ministry of Human Resources and administered by the Social Security Organisation (SOCSO/PERKESO) was introduced to accelerate job demand among employers and boosting employment opportunities and employability among local job seekers. Successful candidates are required to undergo retraining or skills enhancement based on the requirement of the job or industry.

At COURTS, we firmly believe that this program will benefit those in sustaining their lives during these unprecedented times and ensuring business continuity to recover the country’s economy in the long run. Our objective is to contribute to society by nurturing their well-being and promoting mental health.

Country CEO of COURTS Malaysia, Harry Higashiura says, “We have hired more than 120 candidates for this program. I believe this program would help to stabilize back the economy. It is a great initiative to help those who looking for a job during this difficult situation. Afterall, we have two hands. One is for helping ourselves, the other is for helping others. That is part of life.”
