Rated 5 out of 5 by Hutcher from One Vacuum Cleaner that Does All Jobs! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this beauty today and managed to try it out. It was so good! My mum would be the one using this device, and she was happy with the diagrammatic manual. It's very useful and easy to understand. The design is very user-friendly, though it may seem complicated to many at first sight due to the multiple components. The instalment was very easy and smooth, and it works perfectly! I like particularly the tube, which is flexible in length and allows cleaning of ceiling without having to add on tubing. Once you are done with the cleaning, there's a small part where you can hang your tubing which is lovely. The cleaner itself is not very heavy, and moves around easily and smoothly. To my surprise, it has got a special port for animal fur and hair. This is particularly useful for pet owners! The suction is strong! but it comes together with loud noise. However, the performance outweighs the noise it created. Will put up my follow-up after weeks or months!

Rated 5 out of 5 by rirye from Solid built with powerful suction Comes with 2 different suction head with brush. Amazed with the suction power and solid build. Sound when operating not too loud and the adjustable steel pipe really helps. Brush that attached to the steel pipe very creative. Really practical and worth the buy. Keep it up Philips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zatul from Ergonomically designed Vacuum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received the product last week...my review is as below: a) The suction was very powerful b) Easy to use coz of the light weight and bagless.. c) Futuristic design like a ‘transformer’...all parts are located near the tube and we just need to press, drag the tube. All parts are securely kept in its own compartment so there will be less missing items. d) There is only one tube but it is adjustable to any length. It is also from a high quality material which thus lessen the risk of broken (unlike my previous vacuum which was easily broken and as a consequence I’m having problem to find the replacement) e) Very handy as it can also be used for cleaning of ceiling and narrow area like under the sofa

Rated 4 out of 5 by iefazam from Powerful bagless sucker [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love the new vacuum. The suction power is the best compared to other vacuums I have used. My husband likes it too. Some pros & cons I can list for this vacuum: Pros: 1. Powerful suction as it is 1900W 2. Many tools/head provided for different function 3. Bagless 4. Long tube that can be extended 5. The head can be attached to the body after use (I like this because you don't need to think about the tube lying around) 6. Can adjust the suction based on the surface (sofa/carpet/others) 7. Long 9m cord. You can continue your cleaning to extended area without worrying to unplug the vacuum Cons: 1. The size is quite big for a small house 2. The suction power decreases if the container gets full thus need to empty it regularly 3. The noise it makes is quite loud but acceptable for the suction power 4. Cat's fur easily got caught on one of the head that looks like brush Overall, it makes the cleaning easier for us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by raydenstan from Powerful, Convenient Herculean [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this product I was typically excited on what functions it will be able to provide. First thing that caught my eyes was the Power Cyclone 5 that was imprinted on top of the disposal casing. Many brands do claim that their product have the similar feature, so I was a bit skeptical whether it really does what it claimed to be. The chamber in the disposal casing was eye catching as well, with the pencil tip cone shaped like supposedly be the catalyst to cause the "cyclonical effect", and this method will enable the dust and dirts to be easily separated from the sucked air. Needless to say the effortless way to dispose all the rubbish since it's all collected in one chamber. What I like was the multifunctional attachments that came together, naming two vacuum nozzles, the crevice tool, and the multi-extending adjustable handle bar. The vacuum nozzles, the Multiclean Nozzle meant for universal floor suction, what was interest is the other nozzle called Turbobrush that had bristle wheels inside, which functions to pickup furs and dirts around upholsteries and carpets, now this is a first for me seeing a commercial brand offering such feature! Kudos! Another plus point was on the integrated brush which was assimilated on the hose itself, pronging easily to be used by just sliding it out whenever you need it, unlike other normal vacuum cleaner that separates it as an attachment, inconvenient to plug and unplug. The thought to the details also made me give this product bonus points, I found specific slide-in slots for the hander bar to be placed on when unused, two in fact, one when the suction unit is at horizontally lying position, the other one was on vertical standing position. Well thought! Now comes to the actual use of the product. I can only say with the powerful 1900W motor, not a single thing can escape it's powerful suction, aided with the cyclone feature, cleaning up has been a breeze and cut down the time rationally significant. Not to mention having 9 meters long cable to drag the product along the house, spending less time finding a power plug to move to the next location. Overall, this vacuum cleaner is a bang for the buck, judging its built quality and multifunctional use of the attachments, and also ease of storage. Thumbs up and your wife or maid will thank you for making their lives easier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All this while I am cleaning my house with just a regular vacuum and broom, assuming that is good enough. Once I received the POWERPRO COMPACT bag-less vacuum, I cleaned my house as usual and tried the POWERPRO COMPACT vacuum at the last. Guess what, I found the reason why I'm sneezing early morning everyday- this AWESOME vacuum cleaned all the dust that cant be seen through my eyes that stuck at the carpet and hidden edges around the house all this while. Easy to use, Compact and Power Cleaning effect make me really fall in LOVE with this product. Everyone should have one this at home. And guess what my mom planned to buy this vacuum cleaner in future during her visit to my house since she find it works AMAZINGLY and EASY TO USE. Thanks PHILIPS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by shirleyczl from Comprehensive! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we opened PowerPro Compact Bagless vacuum cleaner, I fell in love with its physical look. The impression is solid, high tech, and a complete set of vacuum. It came with 2 nozzles - Multi clean nozzle (for different floor types), and Turbo Brush nozzle (for carpet and etc), crevice tool and integrated brush clipped on the metal tube. It's complete that we dont have to search for tools/accessories from drawers. When pull the cable, the cord is longer than our current vacuum, and we only change 3 plug points for 1200sqft house. When the power is turn on, the sound is decently loud and thanks to PowerCyclone 5 technology, the suction power is overwhelming. The feel is like the nozzle is glued on the floor. After vacuumed, the floor is like we had done mopping. When finished cleaning, with 1 button press, the cord speedily auto retract into the cylinder unit. (so fast that the cord hit us) The functionality loves are: 1. Great suction power 2. Long power cord 3. Tools are clipped on the tube 4. Environmental friendly as it's Bagless! The functionality dislikes are: 1. Heavy to carry 2. Have to change filter after 12 months. (if it can recycle, it'll be plus point) Definitely a best product and will recommend to friends too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Eikaa from Love how this product clean my house I really like how this vacuum cleaner suction all the dust. But brush accessories that attach with the nozzle not stay longer that aspected. All the brushes off easily and cannot be use to carpet. Plus the filter at the back of the vaccum also become noisy when it not attach perfectly. The filter so hard to find for replacement. Hope PHILIPS will look forward about selling the replacement accessories and filter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by taiko82003 from All Rounder Vacuum Cleaner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you first set eyes on the Philips PowerPro Compact you can tell it means serious business. The design of the PowerPro Compact sits at the more macho, high-tech end of the design spectrum. The PowerPro proved manoeuvrability suprisingly easy thanks to the large tyre-like wheels on either side of the cylinder unit, and the smaller wheel on the cleaning head especially cleaning around tight corners. There’s a 9m length power cord, which gives you a decent amount of reach whereby the automatic retracting mechanism for the cord works well. A simple press of the button and the cord quickly draws back into the cylinder unit. This PowerPro Compact also comes with a selection of accessories, including a standard multipurpose head, a dedicated hard floor head, a 2-in-1 brush and a small nozzle which makes it convenient for cleaning different kind of surfaces such as the sofas, tiles and the carpets. Using the Power Cyclone 5 Technology, PowerPro performed equally well with a powerful 1900W suction where I have tried pouring some hard floor baking powder spill, leaving only a little in the crack between tiles when using the multifunction head. When using the dedicated hard floor head, even the powder in the cracks was successfully removed after one pass. A HEPA 10-rated exhaust filter is installed in the rear of the vacuum and this removes 99.95% of dust, which should be great for allergy sufferers. The process of the removing the filter is easy to perform too. All in all, the PowerPro is arguably a little too powerful, as strange as that sounds where it is an excellent performer that’s well built and simple to use. PowerPro Compact definitely gets a thumbs up and is one of the best products from Philips so far. Highly recommended to everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Azleena from Serious horsepower in a box! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unboxing this vacuum, I immediately saw some features I liked. Firstly, the brush and narrow attachments placed on the main stick, as it is annoying to have to carry them around while vacuuming a big house. Also the handle located at the top of the vacuum body, which makes it easy to carry around. And that there are two sltos, which enable the stick to be placed neatly while the vacuum body is upright for storage, or while it is laying flat during a pause in vacuuming. On first use, I am immediately surprised by how loud it is. The cats immediately made like Elvis and left the building. Definitely you can't use this while the baby is napping. But then the surprise was taken over by awe at just how powerful it is! Sometimes it vacuum-sealed itself to the floor and it took some muscle to move! Curtains and loose trouser legs were sucked into the vortex. Even light carpets were lifted up by its serious suction power. Oh, and the long power cable made it easy to reach every corner of each room. The vacuum head comes with a simple step switch to optimise use between floors and carpets. This is complemented by the easy push switch on the stick to regulate airflow for floor, sofa or carpet. And for houses with pet fur embedded into the carpet, the additional TurboBrush ensures a deep clean. Having the brush attachment only available at the end of the tube meant i did have to bend down to clean the tops of the baseboards. But that was a small inconvenience. And it was easy to clean our plush cat tree. Using the narrow attachment plus the mega section power of this vacuum has made cleaning the tracks of my sliding doors and between the sofa chinks a breeze. This vacuum comes with a convenient Max level indicator. Emptying the bin was very easy, and i like that it can be rinsed out. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with this powerhouse of a vacuum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Eina5696 from Really Useful and Easy To Handle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First at all, I am very satisfied with the Phillips Vacuum Power Cyclone 5 technology. This product comes with the manual book that show how to assemble the vacuum step by step. Easy to handle and use. Besides with this vacuum I can complete my house works so easily and faster. Vacuum very compact, modern design and not too noisy. It came complete with variety of nozzle that each of it has specified function such as for carpet and floor. Other than that, the vacuum is so easy release dust compartment. After using the philips vacuum my house is always clean and free from dust, hair fall and dirt. Overall, I'm extremely very satisfied and happy with this product because of it performance. It also very suitable for every career woman like me because it save a lot of time, energy and easy to handle. I will post another review about this vacuum.

Rated 4 out of 5 by kavitha88 from The Almost Perfect Household Vacuum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was rather surprised yet pleased that the vacuum had fewer additional attachments. The entire vacuum with attachments is relatively on the lighter side which is good for older users such as my mum and dad. The vacuum also has a very sleek exterior. The user manual provided was easy to understand with the pictorial images. Took me barely a few minutes to read it through before plugging this bad boy up and testing it for the first time. I would say even if you did not read the manual, the vacuum is extremely user friendly and self explanatory. I noticed there are little images on the tube extension indicating purpose of use; such as carpet and sofa. This makes it easy to know which function should be used for the intended cleaning surface. One characteristic that I enjoyed was the extra long wire as I could plug it in anywhere and manoeuvre my way through, cleaning everything at one go instead of re-plugging if I moved further away from the initial plug socket. The multi-purpose tube allowed me to extend it and use different cleaning attachments as I made my way through the cleaning process. Both the extra long wire and multi-purpose tube/ attachments is definitely is a time saving feature. I did not have to look for specific attachments or any extra tube to reach for difficult spaces. Everything on one tube made the cleaning process more smooth. Another noteworthy feature is the suction. I loved how there was a steady and strong suction from the vacuum which meant even the toughest dirt or dust could be sucked in surely and quickly. However, I did notice because of the strong suction, it did lift the carpet (even on the carpet function). I tried it on 3 different types of carpets and I was left with the same result. Hence, I did not enjoy the process of vacuuming the carpets. It did a great job at vacuuming other surfaces though such as the sofas, floors and walls. Noise levels on the vacuum was relatively alright, nothing to shout about. After vacuuming, I did notice a significant level of dust collected in the bagless dust collector. First things first, bagless is amazing as you need not worry about purchasing additional vacuum dust bags making it economically and environmentally friendly. However, the plastic dust container has a top opening that does not come off making it difficult to get all the dirt out. It would have been better if the top lid could be removed. Overall, it is almost the perfect household vacuum minus a few let downs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by arthropod from Good Serve its purpose. Very easy to wash and clean. The tube length is extendable and longer than my previous vacuum cleaner, can reach the ceiling for cleaning spider webs. The tube is a bit heavy though. There is a slot on the vacuum body to fix the tube in place so it looks neatly kept when not in used.
